Cozy Room Refresh: Room Tour

Hey y'all!

As you all know I've been loving decorating my room and giving my space a refresh. This year I decided to switch up the decor and go darker with the accents in

my room.

I love using slip on pillow covers to change up the vibe of the space with our having to spend much money or toss my other pillow covers. I've been loving the burnt orange, rust color and wanted to add it to the sitting area in my room. We found a great velvet material at G street fabrics and my mom made the pillow covers.

I also added a rust colored throw to tie in the pillow and keep the sitting area cozy. I also upgraded the pillow covers in my room using an authentic mud cloth fabric which looks so rich on my bed.

Lastly, I switched out my ruggable rug cover for a really cool abstract print. I love that I was able to simply fold up my other rug cover and tuck it away until spring.
